For your requested drawing, I will use various graphite pencils on illustration board (which is much more sturdy and durable than paper). I will spray the finished work with a matte fixative to help protect and preserve the drawing.
Email me the details and the reference picture that I will be drawing from, and I will email you an estimated price.
The reference photo needs to be of good quality. I need to able able to see the subject clearly. The bigger the photo, the better. I also prefer digital photos rather than printed photos. Just remember: the quality of the reference photo will directly impact the quality of the drawing.
While I am working on your commission, I will email you regularly with photos/scans of the work in progress.
Pricing depends on size, deadline, and complexity of the reference I am drawing from (such as more than one subject, active background, amount of detail, etc.).
Here are the base prices for different sizes (vertical or horizontal) for a portrait of one subject:
9 x 12 in. - $125
11 x 14 in. - $150
12 x 18 in. - $175
16 x 20 in. - $210
18 x 24 in. - $250
You can request any other size though, as long as it is not smaller than 8 x 10 in. and no larger than
18 x 24 in.
Payment
Pay through paypal or mail. Shipping is included. I do not send the piece of art until I receive payment. Delivery arrangements, payment, and all other information (shipping addresses, paypal account, etc.) will all be given through email: taleah@taleahsart.com
If it makes everything easier, we can talk about all the details (from the way you want your drawing to be done.. to payment and delivery) over the phone. If you wish to do this, contact me through email.
